What drew you to the Holland hybrid heart?

A proud father of 3 sons, we have as a family struggled with the heart condition my middle son, Olivier has. He has a Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, basically missing the left half of his heart. He is doing all right these days, which gives my wife and myself the time and breathing room to focus on projects we find important. For me that is contributing to a real cure for all heart patients. Research is the only way to get that cure and the HHH is a great initiative and consortium. Very enthusiastic to be a part of this!

What do you bring to the consortium?

I value having fun while working. Convinced that fun comes from working with great people and delivering something valuable. I will focus on keeping everyone connected and keeping our eyes on the goal. I am interested in making this project a success for patients and will put time and effort into the trajectory to reach patients.
